HERO ERA-1 Beijing to Paris

Over 37 days of racing, the Street or Track equipped - Prodrive UK built HERO ERA-1 Mustang travelled 14.500km from Beijing to Paris.

The Peking to Paris Motor Challenge is unique in the motoring world, a true historic vehicle endurance event that follows in the wheel tracks of the 1907 Pioneers. Adhering to its original purpose of testing the automobile and crew, it provides the ultimate challenge of a 14000 kms adventure across the world’s biggest land mass. The 2024 event, the eighth revived by HERO-ERA, will be the most adventurous yet.

Street or Track built and supplied a selection of our products for HERO ERA-1, the first car in a series. This could quite possibly be the ultimate endurance test! We are very proud and excited to be a part of this project.

To see the car before it shipped off to China, Street or Track President Shaun travelled to Prodrive UK with his father Robert in March 2024.

On May 18th 2024 drivers Katarina Kyvalova & Jon Minshaw set off from the Great Wall of China in Beijing along with many other teams in a myriad of vehicles.

Over the next several weeks they travelled over 9000 miles to Paris. We are very happy to report that the car finished the event in its first outing and the Street or Track components worked flawlessly! We are busy planning the build of car # 2 that will compete in 2025.
